Great product and easy install! Love that I found these!! Installed a set of cool white in my Altima. They look unique and a factory finish. Ordered the Custom kit with 6 cup holder LED lights. I would most definitely order them again, Thanks so much!!!!
We also suggest adding a fuse. It is good practise and should not be ignored. Here are two diagrams showing you how to connect them using a relay. You will have to adjust the current ratings for the light you are using. In this case the light do not take more than 10A.
Jul 07, · Re: 12V light kit on 36 volt ’02 club car I use a set of aligator clips so I can rotate them on a pair of the batteries, think of your having 3 pairs of 12 volt batteries,,, if you use you lights a lot and just use the same two batteries,, those batteries will suffer.

How to Wire a Relay for Off-Road LED Lights
What is a Relay? A relay is an electrical switch. When you create a circuit a loop of electricity from the battery to your LED Light bar , if you just put a switch between the battery and the light, it will have to be rated for the full current amp draw of the light.
For $8 my advice would be to cut a 4 LED section out of the string, hook a ohm resistor in series on either the + or – side and hook it to a 12v battery. This should give plenty of resistance to be safe and not blow the lamps out.
The top row is the number of amps applied to the wire. Choose a column that is equal to or greater than the maximum current draw of your light bar. The intersection between the selected row and column indicates the proper size of wire, in AWG or American Wire Gauge, you should use for the circuit. It never hurts to choose one gauge larger, which means a lower AWG. This provides a greater margin of safety. When wiring LED light bar relays or switches, fuse all positive side wires such as from the positive battery terminal to the light bar switch.
Wire Grades There are three grades of automotive wire: These grades have a higher temperature range and better resistance to solvents and other chemicals. If you can afford them, use them. Why compromise that with leaky connectors? Look for quality watertight wire connectors in a local marine store. When wiring LED light bar connectors, use crimpers that are specified for them.
Good watertight connectors do not need a coating of silicone or electrical tape. If you are so compelled, however, use marine grade silicone and professional quality electrical tape.

Now enough of my blah blah As seen from diagram we have 4 LED STRIPS two in front under dashboard and other two for back seat passengers those will be at bottom of front seats one below passenger and other drivers seat. Once the plan is clear we plan for wiring keeping in mind the connectors.

Fuse Holder optional Step 1: Open up the cover that way in the back behind the gas and break pedals. Use the wire clothes hanger take it apart and wrap the LED strip electric wires around it so it can push the wire up thought the hole and reach it near the battery. Make sure to leave enough slack on the other end in order to have enough room to work with.
Connect the fuse holder to the positive side of the battery by unscrewing the nut on the battery. Put one of the wires from the fuse holder into a wire connector and put the connector around the bolt like this: Plugged in the fuse holder, use a wire to wire connector and connect the wire that brought up through the firewall hole and connect it to the other end of the fuse holder.
Mount the LED strips underneath the dash on both the drivers side and passengers side to the desired positions using the back 3M tapes.

Find a suitable mounting location that will allow for running wires and mounting the LED light s. Lay out and mark where the mounting holes will be positioned. Drill appropriate-sized hole s for the mounting hardware. Before starting to drill hole s , check behind locations to insure nothing will be damaged while drilling light mounting holes. Mount the lights with the provided hardware, being sure not to over tighten the hardware you will need to adjust them in Step 7.
Route the lighting side of the wiring harness from the battery to the light s in a safe, secure manner.

Direct fit LED daytime running lights also known as DRLs are aftermarket replacement assemblies that replace a factory bezel or light assembly for a subtle, yet noticeable improvement over stock that will leave others to wonder if it came from factory like that.
Facelifts and other upgrades are often made to production vehicles after they are released to the general public to fix certain issues, improve the look, or refresh the model look. A common change that many models have is the addition of new lights to a part of the vehicle that originally did not have them in the previous generation and years. Our direct fit LED lights blend seamlessly with the existing features of the car and that makes these a very attractive choice for any automotive enthusiast looking for an updated look on their ride.
Many of the modern 21st century European vehicles have an electrical can-bus system that detects when and where a bulb is not properly functioning. Since LED bulbs naturally have less power draw on the system, many European vehicles see this as a fault and as a result, an error message appears. One way to solve this issue would be to add a resistor to the circuit to mimic the power draw of the factory incandescent bulb, but that requires modification of the factory wires which is not something everyone is comfortable with doing.
Error free LED replacement bulbs have built-in resistors inside the LED bulb that prevent unnecessary modifications to be done. LED Angel Eyes were first introduced on the E39 BMW 5-series in the early part of the 21st century and has made a significant impact on the automotive styling culture. These angel eye rings also known as corona rings by BMW are fiber optic rings that reflect light within itself to create a uniform ring of light around the low and high beam lights.
The factory source of light were dim, incandescent filament bulbs that created a dull yellow glow which is not the most desirable color for many car enthusiasts; BMW has since changed this design with their newer models by using an LED alternative.

In the first we installed a cigarette lighter plug. It was so simple that all we did was focus on stripping and crimping a wire. You may want to go back and review it before trying this installation. I bought this LED fixture from Amazon. It has Lumens and comes with a light dimmer. On full brightness I can easily read by it, but at its lowest setting it is great to watch TV by.

Remember we are dealing??? There is no reasoning. Everything is cut and dried. The main issues with importing a car into Canada are: Metric speedometer and metric tag for the ODO 4. The regulations basically state that the DRL’s start when the key is turned. Wikipedia ” If these requirements are not met then the car can not be licensed or driven.

How to Build a Fake Car Alarm Light by Rose Kivi A car alarm can discourage a thief from stealing a car–but so can a fake car alarm, if the thief thinks it is real. More often than not, the flashing light indicative of a car alarm moves a thief on to a car without an alarm. A fake car alarm is simply a flashing light that looks like a real car alarm light. It only costs about 5 dollars and a hour of your time to build a realistic fake car alarm that automatically flashes when the car is turned off and stops flashing when the car is turned on.
Remove the negative cable first.
Jan 29, · The lights can be up to 3 times brighter per light than the sized lights. Now, the reason I said individually is, both the SMD LED strip and the Led strip, is offered with either 30 lights per meter or 60 lights per meter.
Close the switch and you short the supply. What “goes on the end” is of course the power feed, a plug for 12v molex or onboard header. The switch should be in the red lead right after the positive side of the source, with the reds of all the LEDS tied together after that; and all the black leads tied together and connected directly to the negative of the source. All LEDs produced for PCs have a built in current limiting resistor, so they usually can be directly connected to anything between 3 volts and 12 volts.
If not then to ohms should be added in series. The same voltage appears at each unit. LEDs should not be connected in series, red of one connected to black of next, and so on. Thus the anode is positive, the cathode Arrow symbol connected to negative. Connected WITH current flow it acts as a short across the supply, and won’t light. If I wanted more, what would I need to do? I think I know the way I am supposed to connect it, but to make sure I’ll draw out another diagram.
Excuse me, but speaking as an electronic technician, what I see on that diagram is that the switch is acting as a dead short! Based on your post I have produced this: How do I distinguish the anode from the cathode on the LEDs?
